The season is finally here! You can pick up your first share on Saturday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Farm.
Cool fact: All the vegetables you will receive each week is grown right here on the Red Hook Community Farm. That means our shares often look different than what our neighboring CSAs are receiving because our growing season is different than that of farms in upstate New York. Our farmers, Kenny and Sayna, are also growing a lot of greens. So start thinking of new ways to cook collards, kale and other dark green leafys.
Can’t pick up your share?
Unfortunately, we cannot arrange for you to pick up your share at alternate times. But if you can’t make it to the Farm, you have three options:
- Have a friend pick it up. You don’t need to tell us; just have them give your name at check in.
- Email redhookbkcsa@gmail.com, preferably by Friday night, and we’ll see if someone can pick it up for you.
- Skip the pickup and let the vegetables go to a local food bank
